Katherine Steck-Flynn’s interest in forensic science began when she worked as a special constable for the towns of Morinville and Beaumont in Alberta, Canada. She earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Lethbridge, and also holds a certificate in Advance Specialty Health Studies, specializing in forensic science. She teaches seminars for law enforcement agencies in the areas of forensics and evidence collection, and is a regular contributor to Crime Watch Canada, Law Enforcement Technology, and Crime & Clues. Her work is used for training by agencies in Maine, North Carolina, Malaysia and China.

Wesley Clark has 23 years of law enforcement and investigative experience. He is a retired Sergeant from the Connecticut State Police where he served as a Detective and Supervisor within the Major Crime Squad for the majority of his career. He is the President of LIES, LLC Linguistic Interrogation Expert Services which specializes in training, consultation and research within the field of investigative interviewing, criminal interrogation, investigative statement analysis, detecting deception, credibility assessment, cognitive interviewing and related areas.
